Maximising efficiency and minimising water wastage

Who: Go Bus Christchurch with Aurecon Group

Where: Christchurch

Products: 2x Xpress 10000L Industrial Storage Tanks

What: Go Bus is New Zealand's leading passenger transport business who prides themselves on service and quality. While Go Bus want their buses squeaky clean and looking sharp for their customers, they also understand that water is a precious resource, and saving water whenever possible is important.  So, when Go Bus Christchurch was looking to build a new bus washing facility in Christchurch, they needed a water reclaim system designed to maximise efficiency and minimise water wastage.

Go Bus worked with the team at Aurecon to design the new facility and Aurecon turned to Promax for a customised water management solution for the project. Promax assisted with the specification and manufacture of 2x Xpress 10000L Industrial Storage Tanks, including large connections and internal pipework for the settling and cleaning of the water before reuse. XPRESS Water Tanks are lightweight, and their smart one-piece construction reduces maintenance and costs.

Being in Christchurch, Go Bus wanted to make sure the tanks were serviceable after an earthquake, so Promax also included seismic restraints and pad drawings designed for just these sort of high intensity events. Go Bus couldn't be more pleased with the result. Their buses are now fresh and clean in a lot less time and using a lot less water!
